Karneval der Kulturen in Berlin

on Pentecostal weekend - May 2012 - an annual Karneval der Kulturen is held in Berlin. Streets are blocked off, music stages are set up at different points, 300 booths / vendors offer international foods, drinks, and arts and crafts from around the world. The event is topped off by a huge street parade-party. I think the whole city was there!
